The Nike Downshifter 9 women's running shoes provides lightweight breathable comfort throughout your run. These women's sneakers have additional durability with a rubber outsole and closed mesh through the midfood and heel.
I had to return them. Very tight at top of shoe and around toes.??I just received these shoes. I bought the maroon and copper. They look great! I was able to remove the insole and replace it with a Vionic insole and there is enough room. I wear a women size 12 M. The length is as expected. The curve of the toe box is such that is will accommodate a longer second toe without hitting the end/top of the shoe. The medium width is as expected. I however, wear a bunion gel on my left foot. This makes the shoe a little snug on the left foot. I have read in previous reviews that these shoes loosens up after wearing awhile so I hope that is the case. The right shoe width is comfortable. These do not squeak when you walk/run, they are quiet unlike other Nikes I have purchased. So far, a comfortable, attractive running shoe.I love the Revolution 9, I have tried the newer Revolution's, didn't like them.I got these for Christmas since size was 82% accurate my fiancé figured what could go wrong. I got the shoes and excitedly put them on, they were tight, no problem I can loosen them right. Well I did and now it leads me to believe the laces are too small. My other Nike shoes did not have this issue and they are not wide either. If I wear regular socks the fit is too tight and uncomfortable. I need to where thin socks or none to feel perfect. So support is wonderful, material great, but wish the laces where maybe 2 inches longer and the shoe didn’t make me think this was a child’s shoes when wornI love these shoes. They are beautiful. It feels great on my feet and gives support. Only issue is there is some excess space in the toes. I have had other nike sneakers same size and it didnt have the extra toe space. Overall satisfiedI am a loyal Nike owner. I have pretty narrow feet with high arches, so Nike shoes always fit me the best without my foot sliding around in them after a few months. That said, these were the tightest 6.5 sneakers I've ever owned by Nike. There was definitely pressure on my first run in these on the tops of my feet and my soles were a little tender from the tighter fit. I'm hoping a few more runs will loosen them up, but I might suggest to anyone who could flip flop between a half size to take the larger in this style just to be safe. That said, they are a really attractive pair of sneakers, especially for runners. Not as much heel support as some others, but if you like a sleeker look and lower profile, these are great for casual or athletic adventures. The colors are vibrant without being too crazy.Very comfortable and niceI haven't bought any other trainers since I have got these! I love everything about them, the comfort, the lightness, the color, what I don't like is that if it rains, the water soaks into the socks inside. They are not waterproof. But it doesn't matter for me, I love them!Perfect fit. As advertised. So comfortable and perfect for running. Late arrival but worth the wait.I like the fact that these trainers are light and breathable good for gym work out where they won't get wet as I believe they aren't weather proof. I they re great but could do with a bit more foot support.Does what it is supposed to do. Lightweight and good for lounging around in and walking.I have these in another colour but for some reason the fabric on these pulls out of shape. They’re great apart from that.
