Husband doesn’t like slim cut pants and these slightly are. He usually buys large sweats so they are roomy, but we had to get these in an XL to have the same effect. Size up - he LOVES them though, has worn for three nights, says they are super comfortable and I may have to wrestle them from him to wash them :-)
